Dining Room

The first room that is approached as you enter the maisonette is the dining room. This attractive room has a brick exposed non working fireplace and patio doors leading out onto a fully enclosed roof terrace.

There is a natural wood dining table with benches that can sit up to eight people.

The Terrace

There are patio doors leading from the dining room onto the small fully enclosed private roof terrace that catches the south coast sun. A great place to relax with a drink on those summer evenings! The terrace has a large patio table. We accept a well behaved dog by arrangement and this terrace is safe for your pet and ideal if you want to go out and leave a door open so they can access the terrace themselves. This is a place where smokers can smoke as we do not allow smoking in the property itself.
Please note: Guests are not permitted to use the patio after 10pm as it can cause a disturbance to neighbours.

The Kitchen

Up three steps and next to the dining room is the kitchen which again has beautiful exposed brickwork. It has a dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, five ring gas cooker and oven, fridge/freezer etc and everything you need to self cater.

The Lounge

Next to the kitchen is the spacious lounge which has a beautiful imposing original fireplace. It is tastefully decorated with leather sofas and Laura Ashley sideboard. It has a tv with cable channels/ on demand etc, a dvd player, a video player and wireless broadband. There are a selection of family board games and dvds and the room is beautifully lit with wall lights and quality lamps. There is a telephone here which can take incoming calls or we can arrange for you to use it for outgoing calls with an additional deposit if you require this.

Shower Room and WC

There is also a modern shower room and wc on this floor.

The Bedrooms

On the next floor are two double bedrooms each with its own beautiful Victorian fireplace.
The master bedroom is spacious and beautifully appointed and has a good selection of built in wardrobes and two chests of drawers and a double bed. There is plenty of room for an additional z bed. There is an en-suite with bath and wc.The second bedroom is again decorated neutrally and to a high standard. There are twin beds (these can be arranged as bunk beds and a third single bed can be fitted in the room if you have three children sharing). There are fitted wardrobes.

The Attic Bedroom

This is approached via some very steep stairs so this would not be a suitable room for elderly people or small children. This is a twin room but an additional bed can sleep three. Again there is plenty of storage and also a tv and dvd player. A great teenager’s room!

White bed linen and white towels are included. If you are staying for longer period and would like the property cleaned regularly during your stay we can also arrange this for you at additional cost.

All electricity, gas and utility costs are included.

A dog may be accepted by arrangement. Sorry we do not accept cats.

There is broadband.

Parking is by meter.

Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment. You may smoke on the roof terrace.

There is so much to see and do in Brighton and Hove and in the surrounding Sussex countryside. For the ultimate in shopping visit over 350 independent traders in the North Laines where you are able to browse fantastic little quirky shops with lots of “not on the high street” goods! Or if you prefer Churchill Square has a large shopping centre with all the usual big name stores.

Places to Visit & Places to Eat

Brighton is overflowing with places to visit. Being such a compact city, most places in Brighton and Hove are walkable. There is also an excellent bus service that can take you anywhere in Brighton and Hove.

The National Trust

Volks Railway

Opened in 1883, Volk’s Electric Railway is the ‘world’s oldest operating electric railway’. The brainchild of inventor Magnus Volk the railway runs for just over a mile along Brighton seafront between Aquarium (for Brighton Pier) and Black Rock (for the Marina).

Brighton Pier

Free to enter, plenty of rides for children and adults alike. Several shops and cafes to get food. There are great views back to the brighton skyline.

Middle Farm

Come and meet our friendly chickens, ducks, spotted pigs and donkeys. Don’t miss our playful rabbits and guinea pigs. There are timed events throughout the day, including our prize-winning pedigree Jersey cows being milked each afternoon.
